In president Obama's eyes Snowden is not an american patriot. He says that his leaks have accelerated the reforming of the patriot act. Obama says that these programs were already in reform.  I think that this makes Obama appear to be saying that the programs were in reform so we could have changed them without Americans being made aware. I think Snowden is an American patriot because he saw the government wronging the people and made the people aware of it.
