Goodell, Natasha. "Social-networking Profiles Affect Job-searching Students."MonsterCollege. MonsterCollege, n.d. Web. 31 Oct. 2013.

This site gives students advice on how to make their profiles in order to stay safe and get their jobs. This can help get an understanding of how students are affected by employers looking on social network accounts

Knibbs, Kate. "NEW STUDY SAYS PEOPLE STILL DON’T UNDERSTAND THEIR ONLINE LIVES CAN COST THEM THEIR REAL JOBS." Digital Trends. Designtechnica Corporation, 2013. Web. 31 Oct. 2013.

This article tells us how people have been getting in trouble and why they have been getting in trouble with their employees. This site gives me an understanding of the people who think that they are safe on the web because their accounts are “private.”

Ryan, Rachel. “Yes, Employers Will Check Your Facebook Before Offering You a Job.” Huffington Post 4 March 2013 Web. 18 November 2013.

This article is from a first person account of seeing her boss search a potential hire on facebook. This article gives my point of view credibility because it is from the first person account of someone seeing this actually happen.

Delaney, James. “EMPLOYER USE OF FACEBOOK AND ONLINE SOCIAL NETWORKS TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EMPLOYEES: AN ANALYSIS BALANCING THE RISKS OF HAVING A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND THE NEED FOR PROTECTIVE LEGISLATION.” CCH Incorporated 1 June 2013 Web. 18 November 2013

This journal explores the entire story of privacy and facebook. It talks about all of its uses and the consequences that can come with it. This will help me create a full and in depth digital story. Because of all the information in this journal, I should have no problem creating a digital story that is full of the information I am trying to get out there.
